Can You Buy Bottles of Liquor on Royal Caribbean

Ever since Regal Caribbean debuted its unlimited booze packages in late 2012, they take go quite popular with many guests who dearest the thought of locking in the price of something that can go very expensive, very quickly: booze.

For a lot of folks, having drinks on their Purple Caribbean cruise is a big reason they enjoy taking a cruise and I completely understand.  Heck, I dear having drinks as well while I am onboard.  Information technology is really hard to top having a fruity drinkable with an umbrella in information technology while sitting by the puddle on a cute day in the Caribbean.

The reason why I practice not purchase the unlimited alcohol packages and why I often advocate to have a 2nd look at them is because I practise not feel I can become the value out of them to make it worth the cost.

Why (not to) buy the package

The number one reason anyone would want to purchase a Imperial Caribbean unlimited alcohol package is because they desire to be able to drink an unlimited amount of drinks without running up a crazy bill.  It sounds like a perfectly good idea, right?

The package is simple: pay a fixed cost for every day of your cruise and you lot never have to worry about a bar pecker once again.  Imperial Caribbean gets a flat fee and you get the freedom to guild whatever you want.

By almost estimates, you lot have to beverage effectually 5 to 6 drinks per day, depending on what you social club and which package you go, to essentially "break fifty-fifty" on the package'south cost.  After all, why would you purchase something if you are going to over pay, correct?

This is why I don't buy the package.

What I do instead

Instead of buying the drink packages, I opt to pay for my drinks a la carte du jour.

In my mind, even if I drinkable three to 4 drinks per 24-hour interval, I am all the same coming out ahead of the drink package price.  And when I am in port, unremarkably booze is less expensive than on the transport and I can actually reap the savings.

If I can reference something I learned in middle school English class, I would similar to quote an aboriginal Greek aphorism, "know thyself".  It ways you should call back your limits and when it comes to having drinks, some people can easily have a lot to drink and others non then much.  For me, I recognize that I'k happy with just a couple of drinks per day at the most.

By purchasing drinks a la carte, I experience similar I am ordering drinks when I really want 1 and not ordering them just because I tin with the package.

Wine!

The other reason why I practice not get the booze packages is because Royal Caribbean area allows guests to bring up to two bottles of wine per stateroom.

I bring the wine to dinner and this will go me through a few evening meals without having to pay for drinks.

Not everyone drinks vino but the fact this is something I can do to keep costs down and at the same time indulge in having a drink ways the value proffer of an unlimited booze package is much less for me.

Find out for yourself

Patently these are all my opinions and I recognize everyone is different. Forgetting about breaking upward the cruise cost or having the ability to experiment with drinks, the real reason to purchase the drinkable package is to be able to pay a fixed price for your drinks and save money on them in the end.
